Question 20' Rims For Sedan

Hey guys, i currently have a 03 blk/blk G35 with sport package, and i think the 18's are pretty nice but kinda small, my cousin is selling his 20' chrome katana Destiny wheels for 600 dollars and im thinking about buying it, i was wondering if u guys think this is wise, or if 20inch rims will mess up the turn radius and the overall feel of the car, or u guys think i should stick with the stock 18 sport wheels and drop the car 1.5 inches or get 19's and drop it?? im totally confused because i want a nice looking car on the exterior, yet im looking to get alot of speed by adding performance parts. What would you do??

Thank guys, im looking forward to your comments

If you want speed/peformance the last thing you want to do is add some 20 inch chromes.

I used to have some on my g sedan as well. They were just SOOO HEAVYY, killed acceleration and braking. But I must say they did improve handling on the freeway and the twisties. However, they just took a lot of performance away from the car. But wow, got me a lot of attention from the opposite sex which is always a good thing.

I don't regret getting rid of them, people still ask me what happened to them and why I don't have them anymore. But 600 bucks is nothing man, buy them and get some light weight 19's....then just switch off here and there like shoes for your car.

wait, i have an '03 sedan with only 17" wheels. did you get the stock 18" sport package wheels from an '05? just wanted to clarify before the question gets answered, but imo stick with the 18's if you really have them. they look so nice

0.3-0.05 difference at a 1/4 mile track, which = about 1-4 cls.

I love my 20's but they do slow it down quite a bit. That's ok, I just need to get a S/C once the other stuff is paid off.

600 dollars is a good deal. However since you plan on getting some performance stuff just take that money and invest it into 19" wheels and go from there...
