Exclamation 350Z H-techs are alot lower than expected

Wow! I got a set of 350Z h-techs for my sedan. After reading all of the reviews, these really seemed like the way to go. The ride is great, only a tad firmer than the stock sport setup.

What surprised me is how low they are. According to all the info I gathered here, the 350Z h-techs, should drop the car 1.3" F / 1.2" R.

That would've been a fine drop............

The way it sits now, I only have about a finger gap in the front and less than that in the rear.. and the camber looks WAY off.

Do you guys think the car will come back up some when I get it aligned? Also, did any of you need camber arms with these springs?

Thanks,

Andrew

You should've had it aligned right away and again after 500 miles. Keep in mind it is not just your camber that is off. Your toe in/out and caster might be way off too. You do need a camber kit for front and rear for that kind of drop if you want to be within specs. Otherwise, the tires will wear out unevenly.

Probably not enough. I would look into a set of aftermarket camber/toe plates/arms immediately. Wasn't there a site called 350EVO that sold them? I forget.

You will be out of specs. There is no adjustability in the OEM at that height. The best camber kit I could find for the money was this...

UPDATE:

the h-tech ride really well! they are low...at least with the stock 235/45-18s.

I put some 19s w/ lo-pros on to check it out. The 19s have 245-35s and 275/30s on them. the overall tire diamter is smaller than stock, but it is what most G35s run with 19s. On the 19s, the fender gap is better. The car no longer looks slammed.
