Wheel spacers
Even with 5mm spacers you end up needing longer studs, so the answer is yes. I had the 5mm H&R spacers and when I tried to install them I noticed that I could not get the required number of turn's to safely seat the lug nuts.
Are the spacers you have hub centric? And how much did they cost per pair? It would be interesting to see pics of them.
