Tires & Wheel Decision for my G

Hi, everyone I need you guys' opinion.
I am cleaning up my house, and I found my old tires & wheels for my 2002 Galant

The tires & wheels are 99% new,
( I had it on my Galant for 3 monthes, less 1000 miles and I decided to get the G. I took the tires & wheels off when I sold the galant )

SPEC:
  • Wheels are made by EMKEI 17x7.5 5-100/114 offset 40
  • Tires are YOKOHAMA 225/45/17

I checked on tires.com, the wheels seems can fit on my G. only the offset, I am not sure what is the offset to my G
for the Tires, stock 17" is 215/55/17.... can I use 225/45/17 to replace it?

I am thinking to sell all together or keep the tires or keep all for a backup?

Please give me some suggestion on this thanks......

Here is the link for my wheels http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...vid=007606&bp=

Victor

The wheels and tires will fit. But they are too short. There is a 5% speedo difference. I'd go with 225/55 instead. The offset is fine and it will actually look better and more flush than your current set up.

^^^LOL, its the same thing... it WILL fit, chico is always right with offsets and what not, but the tires are too small.

It might fit the lug size, but is the HUB the same size? Honda/Mitsu/Nissan all have different hub sizes. That is the question.

Hub size is not concern. He can simply get hubcentric rings and be done.

Very good idea. Quick and no additional cost.

Not if the G35 hub is larger than the one on the wheels themselves. So no its not that simple.

These are aftermarket wheels interchangeable from car to car...so chances are they will fit with hubcentric rings for the G. If he had OEM wheels from another car manufacturer, I'd agree with you.
