I recently had my fuel hose replaced and I noticed a lower gas milage after this was done. (about 2-3 miles less per gallon) I talked to the dealership and they said that other people has complained about the lower gas mileage too and they were gonna look into it.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any advice?

The service person pointed this out when I took my car in for an oil change today. Got a loaner and they are taking care of it today.

Apparently Infiniti is spacing out the recall notices to avoid a rush, since I haven't received a notice yet.

I can't believe this is anything but a coincidence. Unless you're leaking fuel out of the system somehow.

One explanation may be the seasonal switch to new summer fuel blends, with higher ethanol content, etc. Still, if your dealer is going to pursue this, please report back!

i thought the same thing... possibly a leak or something. i had the dealership look it over and they said no leaks. if it's only happening to cars that my dealership services... maybe they are installing it wrong or something. i'll keep ya posted.
