G35x with oem spoiler, need opinions.

I ordered my 2006 IP G35x and I added the spoiler. The spoiler will have the LED brake lights and the sedan will come with the third brakelight in the rear windshield. (it will also have the shark fin style sat antenna on the rear roof)

Should I disable/disconnect the third brakelight (and just have the spoiler light) or should I leave it as is and have two third brake lights?

Which way looks best?

I tried it both ways with my car for a couple days and decided to unplug the one in the window. It looks better with just the spoiler light working.

if u added the spoiler as part of your order. The window brake light will be disconnected already by the dealer. At least they did on mine.

+1 . . . Yes, as with mine, as well. To be sure of it, ask the dealer to disconnect the 3rd brake light at the time of your spoiler's installation, if so desired.

There is a plug that connects to the third brake light under the parcel shelf that's accessible through the trunk.

Thanks for all the input. You all pretty much confirmed what I thought. (That its better to disconnect it) I will want to remove/hide the third brake light and its hole. I dont want it to look like a light is burnt out.

Weird when I bought my 2003.5 Sedan with the spoiler they completly removed the 3rd break light in the window. Not sure why they would leave it in your car if your getting the spoiler <shrug>

Not sure what I said made sense lol, Bottom line is it came from the factory without the 3rd break light in the window because I special Ordered the car with the spoiler from the factory.
