6 speed not working

just wondering if any 05 sedan owners
have had problems with their 6 speed trannies
as i have taken mine to the dealership 3 times for
a shifter that won't go into gear with the clutch
barried to the floor and shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear
feeling very loose and sometimes just not going in

Mine has issues every once in a while not wanting to go into first when its already stopped.I have to release the clutch and push it in again. I truthfully woudln't worry about it till it breaks. The dealer just gonna give the run around.

I had a problem for about a day and a half when mine wold not go into 5th. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything. Surprise... Anyway it hasn't done it again, so I guess I'll wait.

My friend had a problem with his 05 6mt, it wouldn't go into 5th gear. The problem was a thin aluminum plate guide that acts as the gates for the gear shifter...sometimes this plate can get bent or shifted out of position making it difficult to get into certain gears. The dealer replaced it with a stronger plate, steel maybe? ... i can't remember.

I have this prob with 1st sometimes wanting to engage with clutch to floor. 2nd can be hard to engage sometimes also. Especially when it is cold outside though. Then most other times it shifts perfectly.
