eyy guys, i was planning on getting some mods on my 05 G35 sedan, and i was wondering if these will void the warranty's.

1. Tien S-tech dropping springs.

2. 10-wire Stillen Ground Wire Kit.

3. K&N drop in air-filter and Z-Tube.

4. Technosquare ECU reset.

5. JWT Pop Charger

any responses will be appreciated.

 

this is for the factory warranty- also how long is the factory warranty? years-miles?

 

I assume that touching the ECU will void the warranty on most of your electronic parts if not the entire drivetrain. The others seem ok.

 

It all depends on your dealer. I go to miller and they dont really care.

 

u guys think i should actually go and ask a representative on what mods will void the warrantys? if u guys have gone and asked i would like to know what responses they gave.

 

if u search you will see the rules on warrantys and modding.

basically they can only void your warranty on any specfic part they can prove has been damaged because of your mod. they can't void your whole warranty for one part, but if your mod is responsible for the damage they can void warranty on that particular part & repair. for more in depth explanation search.
