05 headlight question

When I first bought my 05 sedan, only the top part of the headlight (HID) would come on when turned them on. I noticed that on 03-04's, the top (HID) part and the bottom (halogen) would both be lit. Recently, my bottom halogen part started to come on along with the HID, and is always on when I turn the headlights on. I made no changes to the car at all. It just happened. I thought the lowers might be foglights, but I cant find anywhere in the manual how to turn on/off foglights. There is no loss in functionality or drivability, but I kinda want it back to the way it used to be. Anyone else have this problem, or know how to solve it? Im sure its going to be something really easy but I just cant figure it out.

help please

The lower half (halogen) is the foglight. There a separate switch on the stalk to switch it off. It should be mentioned in your manual, or just bend your neck a little and read the stalk... you'll find it easily.

Wink

The fogs and the high beams are in the same bulb. In lesser cars than the G, what is our fog light is their low beam! Don`t question inscrutable Asian logic. Accept it and be proud!

Do you have HIDs on your G because if you dont then there isnt going to be a difference.
