Extend both cables. Thats what I did on mine.

DAMN $180 for a yellow top... i'm glad i get em for wholesale through my work. I might be able to pick up a couple extra when i get mine. I get em for $100. Could prolly get em to you a couple of you for $150 shipped depending on how far you are from SD.

I had the red cap, but i returned it and now i ordered the yellow cap, and overall, there is a difference if you had a battery like i had. My old battery at nite if i had my dome light on and hit my signal it would dim. new battery no dimming what so ever.

i couldn't find a d35r. my wife picked up a d51r for me, and installed it while i was at work... i love that woman. the terminals were as it should... i didn't even know a d35r existed, or i would have gotten that one.

by the way, i picked it up for $150 (including tax) locally. i haven't driven at night yet....

thanks for the help guys!

drove at night... cranked the sub. turned on headlights, blinkers, other 'accessories' (which i won't name), and no light dimming whatsoever.

the d51r seems to fit my needs quite nicely. and as a bonus, it also weighs 10 lbs less.

Sears has the only d51r in stock in nearby. $149 bucks with a core.

I will purchase it today, glad to hear that yours works great. The G has tons of accessories so I figure the yellow will be better
