Extend both cables. Thats what I did on mine.

i couldn't find a d35r. my wife picked up a d51r for me, and installed it while i was at work... i love that woman. the terminals were as it should... i didn't even know a d35r existed, or i would have gotten that one.
by the way, i picked it up for $150 (including tax) locally. i haven't driven at night yet....

Sears has the only d51r in stock in nearby. $149 bucks with a core.
I will purchase it today, glad to hear that yours works great. The G has tons of accessories so I figure the yellow will be better
