I am not a brand loyalist. I drive what I like, regardless of who made it. That said, I traded an 03 Acura TL to get my G-35. My wife and I are both car people, but we are definitely not "Boy Racers". We are both 67! I think the wife summed up our feelings about the G, when she said that the TL was a better ride, but the G-35 is a much better drive. If you like feeling connected to your car, and enjoy the actions involved with driving, as opposed to being in a transportation appliance module, You will like the G. The leather, and other gingerbread, will not match the Lexus, but you won`t care! Let your a$$ in the seat and the grin on your face help you decide. As for powertrain reliability, Infiniti is tops.
