1st month with the G -- mirrors, bluetooth, Sirius

I've had a G35x (package C, navi, Sirius) for the past month, put about 1400 miles on it so far. Very very happy with it inside and out, but just have a few things I wanted to run by the folks here. Yes I did check the manual, and did a quick search for 1 and 2 on the forums, but... I think the answers to all three questions are going to be "no" or "should have bought the M" but we'll see.

1) There doesn't seem to be memory for the side mirrors. Steering wheel and seat yes, but every time I come out of the car wash, garage, or the girlfriend drives the car, I have to put the mirrors back manually. The manual doesn't mention mirror memory, but I guess I've just taken it for granted on similar cars over the years.

2) The Bluetooth works well, but there's no caller ID display available on the radio for an inbound call. Just "TELEPHONE" on the radio. Not the end of the world, but it's nice to see who is calling before answering. And taking my phone out of my coat or from my belt to look at it kind of defeats the purpose of handsfree.

3) Sirius -- while the radio/CD display will scroll artist/track info automagically, the Sirius stations require the constant pressing of the display button to see all the details. No scrolling. It seems like not all the UI folks were on the same page when putting this together.

Thanks for any help or thoughts.

I can only comment on the first one. Yes there is no memory for the mirrors. It does suck but it's not that hard to adjust the mirrors but I still think if you have memory seats and steering then memory mirros should be there too. Probably my only complain about the G I have and it's a minor one.

2) if u hav a bluetooth headset, ur not gonna get the caller ID on ur headset (unless u buy a more expensive headset), but it wud be a great feature, and Id luv to have it on mine

3) I agree with u on this to, its annoyin, it shud atleast scroll once initially, and then if u want to see it again, to press the button.

it sucks how much we pay for the car and yet it doesnt have memory mirrors. Memory seats, mirrors are becomming almost a standard feature with GM and other car companies

Does anyone have a Maxima/Altima handy to see if they have memory mirrors?

I'm surprised that such little things like these got missed, but I guess it's easy to do when you're focusing very much on the real car aspects, instead of creature comforts.

I guess I'll have to wait until '08 to get a car with this stuff. Which isn't the end of the world, but does suck when you've been used to something for 10 years that's so basic, you just assume any car in this class has it.

My headset definitely doesn't have any kind of display, but with it hanging on my ear, I'm not gonna really be able to see what it has to say either. But when I have a radio and (sometimes) nav screen right in front of me, it definitely seems like a design shortcut to leave this out.

1. Don't let your girlfriend drive your car, that will solve that.
2. Good lord, people are getting lazy. No wonder American's are so fat.
3. It will scroll the info on the display, search for another thread it's been brought up before, and/or ask the dealer.
