Side mirror removal
I might have to take off my pass side mirror. I found this article here:

Do you really have to take off the interior side panel to remove the mirror? I haven't looked but it would see the mirror mounting bolts should be under the triangle cover above the door panel. Can't I just pry off the interior triangle piece and unbolt the mirror assembly from there?
Thanks

Thanks Dave. Maybe I should just pm you all my questions directly
Just got the Z tube in. Of course the tab for the support is broken
No biggie as it's supported fine anyway. I have an extra 3" mandrel bent pipe here. With the stock couplers I could probably weld up a "Z-tube" pretty easy. The only reason I'd consider it as I could put the vent connection back on top.

i've got clear bra ppf on my mirrors already so no go for me...i don't like the blinker's location on the mirror anyhow...i prefer the scion tc style... but i do need to replace my driverside mirror glass because for some odd reason, it got a small chip...i don't know from what but it is sorta distracting...
slightly off topic....to replace your mirro housing and all is 500$ from the dealer....shop around find the glass and do it your self, you have to get the housinf from the dealer but dont let them install it and you might want someoneelse to paint it cuz they charge rediculously for painting...

Yup. I grabbed a whole assembly from ebay. I haven't got around to doing this yet. I'm debating getting the lowers painted at the same time.

Speaking of mirrors...would it be possible to fit the Coupe/Z mirror on the Sedan? I assume the A-pillar angle would be different, but is this a possible mod? I like the sharp edged shape of those mirrors better than our rounded one. I haven't looked into this too much, but its a mod I'd really consider doing if it its possible.
