Whats the point? Auto equipped cars still shift slow as molasses. You won't be gaining anything.

You can get a valve body upgrade to halp that. Alot of people have already done that. From what i have "heard" the shift is much faster and sometimes chirped the tires.

Can you elaborate on the valve body upgrade?

From what I understand the vavle body is what controls the shifting for your automatic. The OEM is good, but you could upgrade that to make the shift faster and cleaner. The valve body is in the transmission and from what I understand there are ball bearings and check valves and stuff and it wouldn't be easy to replace yourself unless you knew what you are doing. If it is not done correctly the tranny won't even shift.

Any clue how much this valve body upgrade would cost? Sounds like a great "mod" to improve acceleration.

You can go online at Stillen. Theirs is $699.00 here is the link

I believe there are others. I can't remember for sure of the name but I think it is SPG or something out of Texas. I heard they make a VB as well. Do a search and you can probably find it.

What about getting the oem paddle shifter parts from the CVT version of the G in Japan? Can't remember if this has come up in the past.

I would do my valve body, but my car is still under warranty.so that will have to wait. i just want a new toy that will make my drive to work much more fun. and still remove when it comes to warranty work.
