This is my nerd pic - from my last truck when I was bored. It was governed at 105. It spent a lot of time there. It used a lot of gas. . . And yes - the odometer is in miles.

 

I believe in your mileage....why wouldn't people? As for the 105....wow...very impressive that you're RPM's are only at 3,200 going that speed for a truck that old!

 

Most people who rode in the truck thought I it sold it with 22,300.0 miles instead of 223,000 miles

 

Here's another one. This is driving to Mojave on a flat road (one of two roads) driving into a 50-90 mph head wind in a rental pt cruiser with the pedal to the floor. It would not go any faster, and when I got hit by a strong gust it would slow me down. If I let off to let it shift into the next gear it would slow back down and downshift again.
