Yeah it's quite simple, I made the mistake of taking apart everything to get to the actuator. When I put everything back together I noticed the leather looking sticker :-(

I'm having the same problem with the front passenger window which I'm currently trying to resolve. Does anyone know if the wood trim piece from the grip handle have to come off to fully remove the door layer in order to get to the door actuator and window reset switch?

yes it does, there are 2 screws behind that panel.

Well I finally was able to fix the window problem this morning. Took me 20-25 min. The only tricky part was removing the wood trim grip finisher without nicking or scratching the trim. After that it was just a matter of pulling the door finisher from the body panel, and the reset switch is in a small hole on the door. The overall repair wasn't too bad at all

I'm not sure what you used, but I started using old credit cards/IDs to get under trim pieces and pull them off. It works pretty good and since it's a soft flexible plastic, I don't have to worry about scratching anything. I admit it is harder than using a screw driver, putty knife, or whatever, but I feel safer using them

^ I used an untaped flathead to get under the trim piece. Yeah it was more risky that way so I was careful enough not to scratch the trim. Good thing I D/L'ed the service manual for removing the door finisher and used that as a guidance

I've posted about having this same exact problem not too long ago. I had to do the reverse process and hold the reset button while rolling UP and it worked. I fiddled with the directions stated in the service manual several times until i tried doing it the opposite way. I don't know, maybe i just got lucky.
