I'm just curious about possible problems against tinting tail lights? Now, lets assume that I get rear ended by a careless driver in the middle of the night. Would he (or his insurance company) be able to make the claim that since my tail lights are tinted, they were not clearly visible at night and therefore thats why he rear ended me? Just curious about this scenario...any thoughts?

I always wanted to tint my rear tail lights but the possibility that someone could rear end me and get away with it rubs me the wrong way

i was going to do this. i love the way it looks. even on light colored cars, it can incorporated into a theme. i just left the red and used that for my third color (black, chrome (or silver), and red).

If you get the 3/10 tint from bat there is no way they can say they cant see them. Especially at night. Plus the fact that our LED are bright as $hit at night. I dont think you'd have a problem.

+1 on the fact that they dont look like bat's. Maybe they are thought. When he did the initial testing on mine for the '05s he mentioned maybe doing a full smoke but i didnt know for sure. Take some more pics of the whole car. I personally like the GTR style better though.

You can get my Overlay in a full smoke as well . I agree with you Grant, the GTR looks Batass . You're on for the 25th right? Might wanna check if you still need to register even though your're coming with me.
