about the keyless

my keyless key doesn't work well, sometimes the sensor would detect slower,
like i have to wait 1 or 2 second then press again when i try to lock the door by pressing the button on the door.
is it normal?

I think that's how they're designed. Mine is similar. When I first got it, it felt like I always had to wait to be able to start the car. It felt like a second or 2 until it detected the fob, and then I could start the car. I've gotten used to it now. I guess I slowed myself down to be "in step" with the keyless system. My lock/unlock button is the same.
