Will be visiting the 7th times within 4 weeks...!

Hi!

I really can't believe this is going on with my 2005 G35 with premium and sport package.

3 Weeks ago, one night, the AirBag light suddenly comes on, and I took the car the dealer, Torrence CA, for the first time. They loaned me a 04 I35 for two days. They replaced a new Airbag for me.

The next day, the VDC OFF light comes on, and I took the car the to dealer again. They added brake fuilds, and I drove the car away.

Yet the VDC and SLIP light comes on again! This time, they loanded me a 05 Red G35 sedan.

They claimed that the sensor between the brakes is kind of disconnected, and makes the comp cannot detect the brakes or something... the adjusted it, and I drove the car away the other day.

However, the VDC and SLIP lights come on again! I visted the dealer, again, and they loaned me a silver G35. The car was in the dealer for 2 days. They investigated the car, and claim they could not find the problem, and would like to keep the car for another day for investigation.

Finally, they found that there is problem with the steering wheel angle sensor, and replaced a new one for me.

And, NOW, the auto dimming mirror, moonroof, the "beep" sound (when you lock/unlock the car etc), the lights on the dash board, are all not working! The trip computer also resets everytime I start the car!!!!!!!

This is driving me crazy!!I really hate wasting time on visiting the dealer 2 times per week! Can anyone suggest me what to do next?!

Yikes. That sounds like something your "Lemon Law" would take care of.

Thanks for give me the suggestions, Msedanman and bwassul! I will do some research on the Lemon Law and will consult a lawyer within these few days!

(Yes, I nearly caught in an car accident on the freeway because of the VDC thing suddenly went crazy... and I scratched my car too!)

The lemon law might be worth a try - at the very least I would want to try a different dealer.

One thing that I found is that when you take your car back to the same dealer for the same problem - they usually give it to the same guy to fix. Chances are if he can't do it right the first time, he probably can't do it the second, third, or fourth time either. I ran into that with one of my toyota's and ended up asking the dealership to have a different tech work on my car which resulted in the problem being resolved - but i got a lot of attitude from the service writer and the old tech who came out to talk to me about why I didn't wan't him working on my truck.

As much as I like the guys at my dealership (they really are nice folks ) I agree with this. Ask for a different service technician. He or she might have additional insight. I'd encourage you to go to a different dealer as well, if you have such an option. If not, it really does sound like you might be in store for a new, new car.

Makes me feel better about my little squeaks and rattles...
