My company is thinking of buliding a G35 Sedan Exhaust

Hey guys. I just picked up my G Sedan as I post earlier. I'm the Marketing/Public Coordinator for a Canadian company called Vibrant Performance. Since I just bought my car i'm going to send it to get a custom exhaust system fabricated. We are goin to develop a new y-pipe, midpipe and put a very sweet looking single outlet cannister (muffler) to end it off.....What other companies out there bulid exhaust systems for our cars?

Is there an interest out there for exhaust systems for the G35 Sedans?

You'll find that most people like the dual tip exhaust. I say you do a setup with an x-pipe or h-pipe and go dual.

I agree... dual al the way with a twin tip (dual path rear mufler)

If you can do it w/o a low range drone.. it will sell.

Stillen, HKS, Fuji and Borla are some of the companies. I think your company will have a lot of fun doing testing and some R&D. Drone is a major problem for aftermarket companies trying to perfect the system. Stillen seems to have fixed it on their latest catback system, the HKS rear section is perfect and so is the FUJI. The Borla catback from what I've heard has some droning issues...but some people love it.

That would be good news for most sedan owners. I would send DaveO a PM and ask him what he thinks. He has a good handle on what works. He is old and wise. Tell him Pasta said he is old and wise. Haha.

Add me to the "it's got to be dual tips" bunch. I don't want mine looking like one of those "polished tomato can" types.

Hey guys thanks for all of the input, cause I think you all are absolutely right about the dual tip. It will keep our car looking very classy. I totally understand the droning issues that make most aftermarket exhaust systems very unbearable. My last car before this one was a totally fixed up Honda Accord (JDM Prelude motor, pushing about 228hp to the wheels, NA). My Accord was amazing for zipping around the city but on the highway the droning was terrible.

I will get the exhaust system built in about 2 weeks and I will post some pics of how the prototype system looks and some db numbers...I might even post some video footage. Thanks again guys and if there is any other suggestions for this please let me know...

jdm4eva...I'd like to hear it in person if possible. I'm close to you and I know other Sedan drivers in the area would like to hear it too. Keep us posted.
