Which wheel locks are good?

Hello all,

I am going to get wheel locks for my rims and just wondering what I should get. I know if someone wants to steal them they'll take it no matter what but having wheel lock is better than nothing I guess.

Should I go with the OEM's? http://infinitipa.zoovy.com/c=wv1Gk7...ct/999H1-A7003

Aftermarket ones like Mcgard's? They sell exposed, tuner, under hub caps, not sure what the differences are...

If it doesn't matter then I'll just pick up some cheap ones from autobarn or whatever auto stores.

Does wheel locks throw off the "wheel balance"?

Thanks...

You could get the oem locks or you could go with Mcgard or Gorilla.
If your going aftermarket you want the 12x1.25 acorn style in the exposed. Exposed is the one's for our cars, tuner lugs have a special key you need to use with the 19/21mm wrench and under hub caps are open end for wheels with center caps that cover up the lugs. They dont throw off the balance.

Oh cool. I was just worry that aftermarket will throw off the wheel balance thus I was thinking OEM. If that's the case I'll save 10 bucks and go with the Mcgard and I can just pick it up from an autostore.

This is it right? http://www.ekeystone.com/images/00/P...15/m15-3a3.jpg

It's 12mmx1.25, standard exposed, mcgard part# 24154.

thats a good thing we install nissan facotry wheel locks on every car that leaves the dealership so you can just swap them over to your set of rims.

At $75 from the dealer, it was a damb rip-off cause you could get the Mcgard with better key security at $20 and they are better than eom.
