Burning Smell Normal, Right?
Burning Smell Normal, Right?
Well, my 06 has 230 miles on it and every time I get out after driving it, there is a burning smell. I faintly remember I had this same issue with a Nissan Frontier after I installed a Flowmaster muffler (just temporarily). This is normal right? It's just the new car burning off some stuff?
My guess is you are burning some coating off of your exhaust. Your car probably sat around for a while collecting dust and you are burning off the build up. I would check under your car and all your fluids. If everything checks out, I would not worry about it for a few days. If the smell persists, run by the dealer.
My car, when new, seemed to do the same thing for a few hundred miles....
