saw this pic of the possible 07 sedan
nissan is VERY well-known for its AWD system. just look at the Skyline GTR (of course, G35 is the skyline anyways..)!
the reason that the sedan lost in the road&track contest wasnt cuz its AWD system sux, its just the overall package is dated. still a good car, but others have surpassed it, thats all. same with the coupe..its still the best looking copue for the money, but it will need updates to keep up with competitions, thats just the way things are. there are always newer and better things coming out every year..

I just got back form the Toronto autoshow. In the show program there was a quick article that said Nissan might debut the new G sedan and coupe at the new york autoshow.
"the reason for the short lifespan is due to redesigns of the BMW 3 series and Lexus IS."
I think the new york show is in april. We'll have to wait and see.

UHHHH NO....The G35x is heavily biased to rwd. Only upon detecting slippage is the torque split. Infact, if you read that article which he is talking about, just for kicks, they ran a rwd G35 against the G35X, and guess what?? The X was faster through the cones, handled better and lapped faster than than the rwd G. Yea I was surprised too....If the g35x came in 6 out of 7 the g35 would prolly have come in lower if not the same. And BTW in that test ALL 7 cars were AWD. So no the G didnt loose out cuz it was AWD and rest were RWD. It lost mainly cuz of dated platform, interior etc whereas almost all other cars were significantly new. In the acceleration dept the G was actually up in the top three.

It, the G35 Sedan, certainly beat out the Lincoln LS that was reluctantly considering buying again.

A friend of mine, 6' tall or so, tried to sit behind me in the new 3-series - that looked funny as hell, I should have taken a picture to show you guys. So, they may talk all they want about the increased size, but there's still not much choice for tall guys like me. I forgot to mention that fwd is not an option either - I don't know how people can drive fwd cars after having driven rwd.
