in the is300.net forum, the IS owners are saying they can take out a wrx and mustang GT with the their stock IS from highway. hearing all these BS, i had to race a IS300 myself because having raced a wrx on the freeway my g35, we were dead even.....

as soon as i hit 2nd gear he was 1.5 car length behind. i would imagine if we took it up to 100mph, he would have been about 6~8 car lengths behind.




Friends don't let friends drive stock

 

I was thinking of buying an IS300... browsed their forum and never noticed any of this... most of them were complaining about how slow their cars are stock.

There is always going to be a few crazies making ridiculous claims... I am sure the G or WRX wasn't even racing them or wasn't willing to take it to ridiculous speeds on public roads...

Case in point this *** in a Jetta tried passing me in a non existant lane in Boston... I started racing him for a second or two them I am like nah that would be crazy... bet you anything a G35 got smoked over on one of the Volkswagon forums... but it didn't really happen
