tire pressure sensor

tire pressure sensor
Is the tire pressure sensor on the G35 really sensitive? Mine goes on during long drives and I've noticed it happens when there's a significant change in the temperature. I've driven from San Diego to Arizona, with temp changes from low 70s, high 60s (higher altitude) and back down to low 80s. But when I go out to check the actual tire pressure, everything is within range.

that is what I thought also....but not true according to the dealer. My 05X light goes off every time we drove more than an hour in the car this winter. It didnt seem to happen at all when we first got the car last summer - just in the winter. I stopped to check the pressure immediately each time, all normal around 34 psi. Dealer said it is very common on the G's on long drives.
