Suspension question 03 vs 2004+

I've used the search option and had no luck, so here goes...

As far as the non-sport springs and shocks go, did infiniti change anything after the 2003 G's? I have an early 2003(non-sport) and it seems to have a much harsher ride than my friends 2004. I'm not positive that I have the non-sport(bought it used), but my shocks are not red and appear to look stock , so I'm only assuming it's the non-sport.

I probably wouldn't want the softer ride, but it would be nicer given the nasty roads we have here in Michigan.

So are the springs/shocks any different on the 2004+ models than the 2003's?

TIA

I have the six spoke, but I don't know if they were switched or not.

Six spokes and your shocks aren't red points to non-sport suspension as you guessed. My only other suggestion would be the previous owner put aftermarket springs (which are stiffer).

This is what I'm thinking. I was hoping to find some type of Infiniti part# or tag on the springs, but haven't had much luck thus far. -Thanks

If anyone has a set of 2004 or 2005 stock springs(non-sport) sitting around please let me know. I'll be happy to take them off your hands. For a fee of course.

Are your tires inflated to a very high pressure?

No, they were around 35psi, but I dropped them down close to 30. It helped, but not that much.
