Bose Radio plastic scratched

Ignore the wood, it's not my car. Was detailing the interior yesterday. While I was freshening up my tail lights with 3m plastic polish, I noticed that my bose radio cover plastic looked like this. So I tried the same polish and it made the plastic look 10x better. For the sides and places that are really thin, I applied some on a Q-tip and rubbed. Might take 1-2 applications but it works great. I have the premium package that has a cassette player thus thin sides unlike this picture.

What you showed and talked about is great to know. The radio on my 03 is also scratched and dull, so I think I will try the plastic polish also.

Thanks!
