Can't stop thinking I shoulda got a Coupe

I think I'm going through a "mid-life crisis" at 34 .

I can't stop thinking that I should have gotten a Coupe. I love the way it looks and also the extra ponies.

I've got two small children and the sedan seemed like "the right thing to do" at the time, but hey! I could still fit the kids in the back of the coupe.

What do you guys think ? Have any of you owned both ?

Extra ponies? They are identical engines, 6mt's get more power, auto's have less....regardless of sedan or coupe.

My mistake! I thought the sedan had 260hp and the coupe had 287hp both in auto or stick. I should have done my homework.

I have a 10 month old son and I'm thankful for the back doors when putting him in his car seat. That said, I'll be tempted to go for the coupe next time (probably in around 5 years). I'm in my early 40s so it will be a true mid life crisis.

you see a coupe every 5 mins, sedan is the way to go, although i envy the deep dish wheel you can put on a coupe, but very happy w/ the sedan.

I hear you prog35. I think I had a mini-mid-life crisis myself at 33. I probably should of bought something cheaper and more family friendly but I didn't want to drive a boring car anymore. For me, the sedan is the best way to go. The 05's and up have the same drivetrain as the coupe, more space, and a cheaper pricetag. I actually like the looks of the sedan better and I like to believe it's more of a stealth ride. I have no regets getting my sedan and you shouldn't have any yourself.

The coupe is sexier, no question. But I wouldn't trade my sedan. I get a huge trunk, reclining rear seat for my friends, cheaper insurance (couldn't say why though). It weighs less and has the same power. I couldn't have put a hitch on a coupe to haul my bikes to the track, but I can with the sedan. The Sedan does everything the coupe does, and then some.

If you have kids, think about if you get rear ended. I rather have my kids or family members in the sedan, especially with the rear air bags.

If you didn't have the kids, I would have said you screwed up. Getting your kids in and out of the back seat of the coupe is a pain in the a$$. Don't worry, you'll think yourself later as your kids get older Consider this, modded coupes are a dime a dozen but modded Sedans are few and far between.
