Yeah I noticed that too...Brilliant...Let's make an already lethal combo of testosterone, horsepower, and inexperience behind the wheel even more potent with some alcohol...Idiot...I can't say I'm innocent of racing, but those days of illegal street drags are over...

I race, not organized like the F&TF movies type stuff, but not after I walk out of a bar...and I certainly wouldn't be proud enough of something like that to post it...I just hope it didn't happen that way.

Re: i had an awsome race with an evo!!
Looked up the street he supposedly raced on (Industrial Ave) in Map Quest, and could not find it. Looks like another attention freak. Why the hell would you associate with "Kids" gathered around an open hood of a $30,000 plus car in front of a bar? What are kids doing with a $30,000 plus car? If you wanted to win a drag race, why did you use manumatic mode and not torque braking in auto? This story is full of holes and this kid is full of ****.

He's almost as full of holes as "The Fast and The Furious" was, but at least that was entertaining...

Re: i had an awsome race with an evo!!
... or maybe he's just testing out his story on G people before he posts it in an evo forum.

Re: i had an awsome race with an evo!!
Industrial Ave is a real race spot in perth amboy NJ, but its get raided all the time by cops, dont waste your time going there. As for the G beating an Evo from off the line would be impossible, the only chance we have beating an Evo is if you were racing from 100 to 150mph, otherwise we dont have a chance off the line with the Evo, they fall off on top end with the 4 wheel drive.
You sure it wasnt a lancer with a Evo kit on it. Did you see a a front mount intercooler, if not it was a lancer ES

Re: i had an awsome race with an evo!!
i just notice you have the sedan, u wouldnt even have a chance on the top end of taking it, but you may keep up with it on the top end though, the coupe may have a chance of passing it on top end
