I was under the impression that the 04 sedan came with the diamond graphite color?? . Am I missing something here? Just got off the phone with the dealer to enquire about the price for 03 's and he wouldnt give me a number saying that they dont have a fixed price over invoice... bunch of BS. In additon when I inquired about DG color for the 04 sedan he said it wasnt on his list!! and is only available on the coupe? Is this right ?

 

just bought an '03...and even offered the first born to Infiniti corp Japan if they'd make a special Diamond Graphite sedan for me. No go....and yes, I did call Japan!

No DG in 04 either.

Did find out that there is no price diff on the 04 from the 03. I'll PM you the price I got.

I just picked up my 2004 G35 Sedan in SilverStone today (which is the equivalent colour to Diamond Graphite). We don't get the same colours here in Canada - but it looks really sharp.

Of course it's available! Why? Because I like Twilight Blue and Diamond Graphite, and because I already bought a sedan in Desert Platinum.

I imagine in '05 they'll bring out the gray interior....

I am confused , some of you say it is avialable , some of u say it doesnt. Yes the build it section on the infiniti web has teh color and thats why i was sure, but a dealer said its not so I am confused. Anyone see or buy one yet?

 

YES - the diamond graphite is available for the 04 sedans, along with the twilight blue. How do I know? Our dealership has sold 3 or 4diamond graphite 04 sedans within the past week. I've seen them, I've driven them, I've touched them. They do exist! By the way, from a personal preference - I think the diamond graphite on the sedans looks much better than on the coupes. However, twilight on sedans = UNJEAH.

 

I am going to refrain from anymore discussions on the Diamond Graphite avail for sedans....cuz 2 days ago I bought an 03 BS and I am happy with it.

Just got back from the dealer, a DG does exist, I touched it too and have placed an order for it since they did not have one with nav on the lot. Ordered one for 500 over invoice .. Hope its a good deal ..

 

i think thats a pretty good deal. $500 over invoice. thats how much over invoice i got my 04 for. but they charged me $400 for the advertising fee also, did you have to pay that also? has anyone out there who didnt pay that fee?

"advertising fees" are another bogus pure profit thing for the dealers. You should basically be able to say "I'm not paying it, or I'm going to another dealership."

Unless all the dealerships in your area are under some sort of agreement to charge it.

I haven't made the payment yet , since the car needs to be ordered from japan, unless they find one within 300 miles. Dealer didn't mention anything about advertising . All my paper says is that it will be 500 over invoice.
