half throttle acceleration 2003.5 sedan

My car feels almost stronger at half throttle than it does at full throttle, this happening to anyone else?? Is it normal with the G? It almost seems like it runs out of breath at full throttle, but pulls really strong at half throttle. Maybe half throttle on the gas pedal is more than half throttle at the engine with the drive by wire??

yes!!!!!!!!!

Im very concerned about the performance of my G right now... Its just not all there. 10 minutes ago I had a cavelier pulling from me when we nailed it at 30mph!
It's also shifting a little rough, almost a vibration, 2-3 under 30-50% throttle, and is slow to shift when it needs to downshift....

Im thinking full tranny flush is in order, 54K on my engine

from technosquare's website:
"Throught our testing we found, the drive by wire system was program to never fully open (throttle flap) when you smash the accelerator pedal. In fact, it actually closes the closer you get to the rev limiter, by as much as 20%. This restricts air into the motor and causes HP and torque numbers to go down"

In fact, it actually closes the closer you get to the rev limiter, by as much as 20%.
That quote right there is NOT the same as "the harder you push the accelerator the less power you get". They are talking about REDLINE or the rev limiter... the stock program does that so you don't bounce off of the limiter so hard. That quote has nothing to do with power off the line with full throttle vs half throttle.

There is absolutetly a difference between full and less than full throttle.

I must have made 100 other drivers dizzy durring my speed-up / slow-down cycles on the highway on my way in tonight.

Maybe a throttle position reset calibrating procedure thing is in order... yea whatever you call it.. THAT!

I didn't say there wasn't a difference between full and half-throttle, I'm not disagreeing with any observations y'all have made with full throttle acceleration being not as effective as half throttle acceleration, I'm merely saying that the quote from Technosquared is unrelated to the issue (even though it sounds appropriate, it's unrelated)

It's my understanding that the issue with the throttle body not being wide-open at WOT is a misnomer. I believe the voltage to the throttle body actuator has been observed to lessen as the rpms climb, but I don't know if anyone has witnessed first hand the throttle body actually closing near redline.

Ask the dealer whats going on. My car certainly feels much stronger at full throttle than half throttle and its stock.

It may be because the car has a good amount of torque at the low end. You can stay below 3k rpm's and still feel the power. You have to really wind up cars with little torque.
