2005 G35X Air Filter Replacement?

Just what is the proper procedure for replacing the Engine Air Filter on the '05G35X?

All I could find in the DIY forum was for the coupe.

What I did was to undo the 4 clips (2 on top and 1 on each side) also I removed a bolt that holds the plenum to the fender.

Separating the Front and Rear sections of the plenum was a real pain.

I did not remove the flexible air hose. Would that make the job easier?

Thanks,

How often does the filter need changing? Seems a little early to change a 2005's filter... ?

Coupe and sedan has the same engine compartment so the procedure should be the same. Good luck.
