Anyway to get Projectors for G35 Sedans? I hate how Coupes got them in 06 and the housings fit pre 06 Models, but not the Sedans

Ok I have decided me and my friend are gonna try to do this Projector Project and Demon Eyes too

Basically I am going to Get some Phillips Ultinon 6000k's, Got Some Luminics 6000k Blue Fogs, and I need to find a projector and etc.

My questions are

What all Do I need, I need Just the Phillips Ultinon Bulbs, to use with my current Ballasts, I need a projector, The Demon eyes too.

So what is the best projector to buy, I hear the TSX ones are the best, is that good and how exactly should I go about doing this, do I just need something like this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...spagenameZWDVW

Or This http://cgi.ebay.com/ACURA-TSX-Xenon-HID-PROJECTORS-D2S-HEADLIGHT_W0QQitemZ8047332073QQcategoryZ33710QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Is D2S vs. D2R Matter? If I get the Ultinons now I need D2R Right for my current 03 G35 Sedan, but if I get the new Projectors will the bulbs work or do I need the D2S Ones?

Last question, these projectors are Bi-Xenons correct? So if i get these working would I be able to use them as high beams when wanted?

Currently the When you turn high beams on doesnt that come from the Fog Lights?

Alright Guys I decided on what I am going to do, and let me know if the price sounds unreasonable.

I am getting all this retrofitting professionally Done

Acura RL Projectors - $300
Labor - $200
Demon Eyes - $200
Phillips Ultinon 6000k - $200
LED Bulb for City Light - $10
Luminics 6000K Blue - $30

Spending close to a Grand, but its gonna look sweet

Just wanted to let you know that..

D2S bulbs are for projectors (that is if you opt in going with the projector route)

D2R bulbs are for the reflective housings

u will be lucky if u get RL projectors for $300...or even getting a hand on one of those. they are very rare and expensive. u might want to consider the tsx, low beam only, cuz it will fit in the low beam. u can go TL, which is a bi-xenon..having both low and high beam, but u have to put that in the high beam area of the headlights cuz it's big. and, LABOR....if u r doing it urself..then, it's pretty cheap, but if u have someone who is experience in this field doing it for u...u are looking around $500.

i own a lancer ralliart before the g35 sedan, and i did a retrofit in my old lancer using tsx. it's easier said then done. the hardest is making sure your beam and all align correctly. NOT too high..NOT too low...NOT too wide to the left or the right.

anyway, good luck!!!

The guy was selling me the RL Projector for $300 but he said they are spoken for now, so I have to go the TSX Way and pay $200, and hes charging $200 labor, and he is very good, heres lots of the work he is done.

hmmmm 200 seems really cheap for a retrofit labor.... i would be cautious about having him do it.

i've been down that road and cheap retrofits are iffy. just be cautious. I would just pay the money and get it down correctly. There are many good retrofitters out there. just keep searchin.

I know littodevil is good on the hidplanet, there should be other good ones out there as well, but i know that he has a waiting list already...

why the heck would you use projectors from acura?
Use the hella bixenon projectors, much better and can be bot on ebay.
I have micro xenon hellas with their own housing and ballasts and they are the brightest of all. go to hella's website and check it out. they can be fitted easily in the bumper, but you would have to cut out holes and mount them. I had them on a corolla with my regular lights and they look cool

He also quoted me $375 for the TL BiXenon's, Would Hella come close to the quality of the TL Bi-Xenons, I heard the Acura ones are the best rated on the market?

No. IMO, TL (bi-xenon) and TSX (single) projectors are the best on the market right now. Their cuttoffs are just so clean and the color is just so nice... It's not who makes them, it's that the lenses are so clear. I belive Honda projectors are made by Bosch? as are BMW projectors, but you can't compare them. I think Audi projectors are made by Hella... but don't quote me on that, I'm not too sure. What makes each type of projector special is like I stated above, it's the lense itself...

BTW, if you are planning on doing a projector retrofit, look around on ebay. You can find TL projectors for like $250 shipped. Also, for the bulbs, an easy way I learned to remember which is which... D2Sh-ielded, D2R-eflector.
