350Z springs installed (with pics)

I think the unrevised is acceptable/comparable for the sports suspension. Due to the similar spring rates of the spring. It will not degrade or overwhelm the struts that comprise the sports susp.
I think that if you get the revised you should opt to get the struts also. Because the revised springs are a higher rate than the struts are designed for. Which would later quite possibly degrade over time if paired if with stock sedan sport struts .
I did a lot reading on here and the 350z forums. I wanted to have a nice solid ride. So I got the susp off of the roadster owner. I figured(albeit wrongly) that since the roadster weight would be similar to the sedan(the sedan is lighter). I assume the weight similarity would be an perfect match.
I plan to have them installed sometime next month. Seems that everyone that has done the swap gives very encouraging feedback/comments. I hope to join that crowd.

The best part about the sports package is the limited slip they add to the rear end, honestly that should be standard on non-sport cars too.
If you are lowering your car for looks, and don't care about dampening, or performance, then you'll be fine with the stock shocks- You'll have to replace the shocks sooner than later.
Another thing to consider is that the G weighs quite a bit more than the Z-car. Especially when you put 4-people in there.
If you are lowering the car to bring down the center of gravity so it will go around corners better, so it won't bob on the freeway or through high-speed sweepers, then it would be wise to do shocks, and decent ones at that.
A kit that's matched. This is perhaps the biggest obstacle for X owners short of the tire wear issues we'll probably see from lack of postive camber.
I personally believe you want to keep as much suspension travel as possible too. This way if you do lower it a bit, you can set up plush on the first part of the stroke and stiffer on the bottom half. Justification for coil-overs, even on a sedan I suppose-
I can live with the camber issues if the performance is increased dramatically(which it would be if I installed a nice setup)-
If you are going through the trouble of removing the springs, why not just get a decent kit- A nice high-end Bilstein shock and Eibachs will do wonders, and it won't break the bank- Coil-overs if you want to dial in the car so that it offers the best of all worlds.

I have Z springs in the front and Coupe springs on the rear teamed with the Sport shocks. I get absolutely no pogoing or bouncing. It's very controlled and it's been tha way since I installed the Z springs 5 months ago. I think the dampening rates of the Sport shocks is more than up to the task of a 1" drop. I couldn't tell you about the non-Sport shocks though. They seem to be quite a bit softer, at least in the low mileage loaners I've had.

As I stated in my original post, the camber was just slightly out of tolerance. Nothing I can't live with.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys. The springs Nick took off the 05 and replaced with unrevised z springs all have the same spring rates. The only difference is the drop of about one inch. His shocks should be fine in my opinion.
Sedan
2003 -2006 - G35 sedan AT and MT with sport suspension spring rates - 314/342
2003 - 2006 - G35 sedan non sport spring rates - 283/308
