alternator/fan/PS PN#W1000-88402 is about $12

AC PN#W1000-20018 for build date 1/2002-9/2002 is about $16
AC PN#W1000-27666 for build date 10/2002+ is about $16

All of those are made by BANDO. Its funny to see that the AC belt for the 350Z has build dates for 6-2002 and then for 7-2002+

Thanks. Are these part numbers Nissan/Infiniti OEM or Bando aftermarket? Thanks for the info. I'll submit the information for a sticky later.

Jeff, these are in fact OEM replacement Bando if not the exact OEM part#

I made a call to my Nissan dealer for a 2003 and a 2004, they only carry the part #'s above and I specifically asked what brand are they, the counter guy just said "Bando" I'm not sure if there is another Manufacture for them that supplies for Nissan HQ directly and a different supplier for aftermarket OE replacements. Would you know who makes them directly for OEM?

Loe, there are alot of belt makers out there, Bando, Gates etc... all should have x-referencing in their catalogs. The reason I ask is that I put those p/ns in a Nissan parts search and it doesn't show.

But I found some better pricing here: doesn't ask for the build dates though. Might have to call but the pricing is good!

I see what you mean, I did some searching on a typical local parts store website http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...rpentine+Belts

Why are you replacing the belts? I got over 90K miles out of the old VQ30's belt and even then it wasn't in dire need of replacement.

One is showing signs of cracking. I'm trying to find the Nissan p/n so I can just go to any discount Nissan parts place and order them via p/n. I searched Napa's site and they are actually more expensive. Plus I'd like to have the p/n for sticky information.

It's in the service manual. But it's pretty easy. Searching for "service manual" yields this link. http://www.g35frenzy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1044

You can just look around for the belt section. But it's pretty easy from what I see

Cracking is pretty common for these types of belts and is a non-issue. When the ribs start to break/flake off is when you want to replace the belt. If you just want to wrench on the car, then have at it Replaces the accessory belt on a VQ is cake and takes about 10 to 20 minutes. Replacing it on my 94 Z28 was even easier because the tensioner was spring loaded and all you needed was breaker and 17MM socket to release tension/lift up the tensioner pulley. Swapping the belt took all of 2 minutes. I don't know why more manufactuers don't use that setup.
