Planning to buy a G35 sedan for my bride's primary ride ... I've
got ~2 million freq flyer miles to burn to retrieve the G35, so
the location of the dealer is not a particular disqualifier.

I'm down in San Diego, CA, and can't comment on those. But since you mention Plano, I've only heard good things about Grubbs Infiniti in Dallas from other forum members.

(It's not worth wasting your miles to come to the dealerships in my town.)

May I suggest that you find a dealer with your area to buy from to get future service with a smile. Although the infiniti experience is supposed to be great, I have always felt buying from a dealer you plan on having service done gets you more in the long run

I went to my local dealer to get my car serviced and they could care less where I bought my car as long as I get it serviced there. Their sales and service dept are separate so any service dept will be happy to take your money. In this case, I dont' think buying your car at a local dealer will bring you good karma with the service guys.
