conflicting info - 20x8.5 with +?offset

Hi,

I have searched and searched and can't find a straight forward answer.

I'm looking to put this set up on my 04 stock non-sport suspension sedan.

20 x 8.5 +40 offset with 245/35-20

Will it fit w/ no rubbing issues/problems?

Any help/pics would be greatly appreciated

(please don't yell at me if i didn't search correctly)

Thanks guys!

I don't plan on lowering it, unless the gap drives me CRAZY.

Would it be ok with that set up even if i lower it?

You should be fine with that size/offset. Care to enlighten us on what wheels you plan to go with?

I've got 20 x 8.5 with +35 offset and same tires. I have no rubbing issues and the Eibach Pro kit goes on next week. It still needs the drop. Trust me, the gap will bug you.

I'm running 20x8.5 +32 - car is lowered (I don't have a measurement of how low it is) - but it will rub when I'm turning into a steep driveway or on a drop off to uneven pavement on the freeway. It rubs the inner fender lining - not the fender itself, so it's not a big deal at all.

rear is 20x9.5 +45 no issues whatsoever.

I'd highly recommend running a round sidewall tire (I'm running a Falken ST-115) and I had my rear fender trimmed for peace of mind. Running a flat sidewall tire (like Nitto NT-555 or BFG) will probably get you into more trouble

I have 20x8.5's with +20 right now and no problems. We are going to try to see if a 20x10 +43 with a 275/30/20 555 will fit in the rear on Friday.

The +20 must have been a typo, right?

The Eibach kit is on now and no rubbing issues. Once again, I have 20 x 8.5's with +35mm offset. No rub, and no gap. Luv'n it....

ttrank, are you absolutely positive you have +20, it doesnt look like you do when i saw pics of your car. they would stick out of the fender like an inch and a half.

The only size the Zenetti five comes in for 20x8.5, 5x114.3 is a +20 so I am 99% sure. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
