i believe you, but it just seems like they would stick out alot more than it looks like in your pic.

It's absolutely a mistake. +30 would be inline with the fender. +20 would as Grant says stick out over an inch...

EDIT: Just did some research on these. It seems like standard offsets for 19x8.5" or 20x8.5" wheels is +40. That is exactly what it looks like as they are mounted on your car too. There must have been a mistake made by your distributor...

You'll need a bigger offset, I'm guessing. More like +50/+55.

I really doubt that a +55 on a 10" wheel would fit. I think that would rub against the inner fender and suspension...

Plus the tires. That chart is just for the wheel, it doesn't take into account tires. You'd probably have to use narrow tires so the rounded edges don't rub.

When I had my wheels mounted, the guy at the shop said "You have a lot more room in the rear" as if my 8.5's weren't wide enough. LOL.

I don't think that chart is right when it comes to the inside limit. We tried the 20x10 +43 with a 285/30/20 Pilot Sport yesterday and my car was too low. It just barely hit the outer quarter panel and had room on the inside. My car just tucks the tires all the way around. I rolled my fenders last night and we are going to try a 275/30 today. It is very close.

So a bigger offset would keep it from rubbing the fender, right?

They fit!!!!
I rolled my fenders and they just clear; even with the H&R drop. There is no rubbing at all. I have like 5mm between the tire and fender.

I will post some pics soon.

Yes as the offset gets larger the less chance of rubbing on the fender. I checked my 8.5's and they don't say what the offest is on them.

rims usually don't say what the offset is unless it is a OEM wheel.

most aftermarket rims actually do give you the offset on the back of the rim on the spokes

You guys were RIGHT, the gap does bug me and I want to lower it. I finally got my wheels last week.

So your car is not lowered in the 'show me your wheels' thread? Wow, i could have sword it was lowered.

I have the same wheels ready to be mounted, but was waiting to put on my z springs.

I thought it looked great in those pictures.

I guess I'll found out how it'll look lowered this weekend when I get mine mounted
