Hey, I have a Silver 03.5 sedan. Rims are a little expensive for me atm, so my friend said he could paint my stock ones, either powdercoat black or gloss black. I have the 5 spoke 17's anyone seen this done before? If done right It seems like it would look pretty good, just looking for any other ideas/suggestions.

thanks.

ive seen rims that have been powdercoated and they came out really good. If you friend knows what he is doing, I would go for it.

Do you mean to paint the wheels or powdercoat them??? It sounds like you're confused about what powdercoating is.

he can do both, I was trying to figure out what would look better, the powdercoat or the gloss paint.

I still think you are confused as to what powdercoat is. You can get the wheels powdercoated gloss or flat or somewhere in between. Powdercoating would be a much better option as it is tougher than just paint.
