Recall?

Anyone else have the recall done to their sedans??? I haven't taken mine in. I'm just wondering if anyone is experiencing any side effects after having all that work done?

Well, exactly what recall are you asking about here?

Yea I took my car in for other service and they suggested I do this recall. Supposedly you're supposed to have less than 1/4 tank of gas since it spills everywhere when they replace the hose. Its a long process -- takes about 4 hours. No side effects felt so far .. except the peace of mind knowing my fuel hose wont fall out in the middle of the freeway!

Should we all be receiving official letters?

According to a link provided here, mine is in the range of recalled VINs.

Unfortunately, I wasn't planning to take mine to the out of town dealer until I did my 30K mileage in late August/early September, just before the end of my 3 year brakes warranty (in case they need to be done).

I didn't receive a letter either but my VIN falls in the range too. I'm gonna take it the next time I stop by the dealer. I have to pick up some grommets for my center console anyways.

I had gone to the dealer for an oil change and he suggested I take an appt with a loaner for this recall as this is at least 2 hours process (someone mentioned 4 hours here). Does not matter how long it takes as I plan to drop off my car in the morning, go to work on the loaner and pick my car back in the evening.

Have appointment for 10-April-2006.

I never received any letter or anything ... ask you local dealer.
