Pic of hard wired radar detector


I hard wired my radar detector and love it. The coil wire dangling down my dash was highly unattractive. No one even knows I have a radar detector now. Does anyone think this is a bad spot? Am I getting a lot of interference here?

I am going to do that with mine. Can you tell me which wire is the 12v swithed and which is the ground?

I have a 03.5

BTW you should have no interference there...

I'm starting to think we should start a thread of all the ways to hardwire our different radar detectors so that everyone else can have one resource

Nice but you really need Mike's mount to make it a clean install.

Looks good. I have the invisicord for mine and have the radar sitting just a little below the rear view mirror.
