man, i just realized that my 04 sedan doesnt have any speakers behind the rear seats. isnt that strange?even my old civic has speakers in the back. i should have gotten the premium package instead if they have more choices in the lot on the color i wanted. so for those who are planning to buy, check out everything b4 you sign that contract.

 

This is no different than 03. There are speakers in the rear door panels. Even with premium, the Sedan only gets a single bass woofer in the rear deck, not a pair of speakers like the coupe

I like the design of having the rear speakers within the rear doors.
The sunlight beating down on your rear deck can eventually
work on rear deck mounted speakers.

yeah its cool to have speakers on the rear doors but speakes on rear panel are much closer to passengers ears. at least one speaker in the rear should be standard in the back, dont you think? just my 2 cents.

 

Actually, speakers in the rear deck don't sound as good as speakers in the door, because they're aimed at the rear glass, which isn't a very good surface to be reflecting acoustics off of.
