2005 Sedan Nose Mask

Will a nose mask / bra from a 2004 G35 sedan fit a 2005? If not, can you get the 2005 mask anywhere other than the dealer? Anyone have a MFG/PN.

Thanks,
JH

I would recommend a clear bra instead.

I know, everyone here does. But i'm an 80's child and the look dosen't bother me, I kinda like it. The clear stuff would bother me, I could still see it and constantly be fighting the urge to peal it off.

Thanks though.

HEHE 80's child I grew up in the 80's I remember the nose masks, chrome wheel well arches, bike racks where we now have spoilers... Best bet is to go on everythingg35.com or call your infiniti dealer to find out if they are the same. It's hard to really tell since they changed the front on the G35 as you know but the car is still the same width so it's possible who knows... But the dealer can tell you and you can just purchase from everythingG35

I have an OEM nose mask for an 05 for sale if you're interested. I hardly used it and now it doesn't fit after I installed the front lip. PM me if you're interested.

Finally someone who can releate...

I got my bra last week.. I used it for a road trip.. then removed it.. that is the extent of its usage for me.. road trips. (just about everyweekend)

BTW, PM Chad@infiniti specialists.. he's on this board for great service and deals.. thats where I got mine.

Be careful if buying a used one.. make sure it has all of the hardware.
1- bottom part mask
1- top part mask
2- screw in button (that go in the wheel wells)
2- "hooks" that go at the bottom of the bumper.

Do you really want to repaint your bumper in a few years for all the scratches and crap that the nose mask would cause? Do some research on both before you make up your mind 80s child. I can only see my clear bra if I look at it from a certain angle in the sun. Other than that, you can't see it.

I had the clear bra. And I just stripped it off the car (what a pain). It looks so bad after 20k of miles on a black car I had to remove it. Nicks all over it and it just didn't shine anymore. I ordered a normal bra from everything35.com today. Just waiting for it to come in and will use it on trips.

Chad wanted $20 bucks more than everythingg35.com wanted for the same bra. I recommend Justin at everythingg35.com. Much cheaper prices.

That only happens if you don't remove it when it rains or if the car is dirty. Wash it when you wash the car weekly. You won't have a problem.

To answer the ORIGINAL question, NO, a 2004 bra WILL NOT fit a 2005-6 sedan.

Quite true, but from what I hear these things can be difficult to put on remove. I looked into this before doing the clear bra and my dealer told me that in some cases they have to nearly remove the bumper to get it on propery and fitted. Not sure if this is true but the likelihood of someone putting it on and removing it every time you wash is far-fetched in my opinion. At least it would be for me considering I wash at least once a week at a minimum.
