Price, looks, size, weight, V8... what's the difference between a 3-Series and 5-Series or between an A4 and A6? Just because they're styled similar doesn't mean there is no difference.

I was under the impression that the M35 is V6 and the M45 is V8........

Thanks smart a$$. V8 is available (M45), that's the point. I guess it's an irrelevant point considering we're comparing the M35 and G35, my mistake.

Lower price/better value (like the TL vs. RL), improved navigation system with touch screen, better styling (subjective).

BUT TL VS RL, BIG Size Difference, ones sporty, ones more luxury and has many more features, intelligent key, and a totally different interior.

While M35 and G35 look like twins under the hood and interior, exterior and price is difference, even the room is similar

Very good question. If most of you are like me, you probably think the M35 is just the G35 with more features and a much nicer interior. After going along for a ride with a friend test driving one, I realize I was completely wrong.

It is much bigger inside both in width and especially the back seat room. Even though the new G35 interior looks very similar to the M35, I doubt it will be up to the same level. I was blow away by the M35. I had just recently driven an A6 and a Jaguar XJB. The M35 had a better interior than both. The A6 was a joke and while some might like the Jag's interior better, I'd pick the M35 over it any day.

I bet the interior of the 2007 will be better looking and have a much better layout, but I bet the material quality stays roughly the same. I don't know how the packages will break down, but from the sounds of all the options, I could see a fully loaded G35 getting close to the $41K base of the M35. I bet the G35 will top out around $38 or so.

Ease up Chief. No need to take it personal. Not meant that way.
