Bill, unless he's progressed with the 2.5" system, there's not much to hear.
The 3" system is way loud.
He was going to dyno test the 3", then start work on a 2.5"

He also suspected the 3" was loosing too much low end.....

Sorry for the delays in getting my dyno done (girlfriend is having our 2nd child in the next 48 hours)...

Went to Splitfire Performance in Brampton, Ontario, Canada and did the Dyno Test. They use a "Dynojet"!!!

1st run with the Stock Exhaust system was: 229.10hp & 225.54tq
2nd run with the Stock Exhaust system was: 230.92hp & 226.74tq

1st run with the Vibrant Exhaust system was: 224.42hp & 218.93tq
2nd run with the Vibrant Exhaust system was: 233.84hq & 230.20tq

Which shows that using a 3 inch exhaust system generates 4hp & 4tq @ the wheels.....!!!...This is nothing to jump up about, but it does show that the Infiniti factory exhaust system is pretty decent!!! One thing I will say is that the factory system is heavy (especially the resonator..holy chit..).

In a few weeks we are going to do a 3inch y-pipe and a 2.5in mid-pipe & rear section to see what the gains we will get...!!! I will keep everyone updated on the progress...

His name is Tristan and he was 7lbs 10ounces..

I will post some graphs of the dyno runs on Monday. I videotaped them on my Sony Video Camera. Does anyone know how to get these videos on to my computer so that I can post them????
