Are the wheels on the 07 show car the "sport" wheel package? If not, do we have any pictures of the sport wheels?

It's not THAT bad in person although the direct view of the front end is just as awful (if not worse) in person as it is in the pictures. The rear is pretty sexy and there are a lot of nice tech features in the new car that should give Lexus and BMW a run for their money. If you are more into sport, I'd go with the 350z but judging from the issues Nissan has had with that, I might suggest a more reliable manufacturer. You could always go with a used M3.. seems to be the route of most former G owners.

They're 18s so I would guess that these are the sport wheels.
Just remember...preproduction, things like wheels could easily be changed.

I think the '07 sedan looks great, I love what they did to the interior of it. Now it's in the same techno-class as the TL. However, I still love my '05 G35x and have no intention of getting rid of it. It reminds me of when I bought my 1998 Maxima. The 1999 model was pretty much a carbon copy of the 1998 model, then in 1999 Nissan revamped the Maxima...and then again a few years later. I kept my Maxima until 2005 and was happy with it year after year.

Sure the 2007 model will have more bells and whistles, but I'll wait for the next iteration to come out before I trade in my baby!

It's more M-ish than sporty to me. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the M, but I was hoping to see something else in next-gen G besides a smaller M. Everyone talks about this brand imaging crap and Infiniti needing to keep the vehicles similar, but having the G be a minature M is not the way to accomplish that... You do it by having small touches to the cars such as in the grill (which Infiniti already does quite well).

style is subjective, nature of the beast. I liked the 07, wife didnt, we were both at the show.

They've caught up to the convenience features/interior of the TL, tried to get closer to the handling of the 3 series, and match or exceed the power of the is350.

If this car drives better AND they can keep it cheaper than their competition as they've alwasy done, it looks like another g when i turn in my ride.. in 2008.. wow that sounds like a long way off.

All in all...I think Infiniti was making the G35 more like the Acura TL than like the BMW 3 series..more luxury and less sport. Judging from the looks and size of the car, thats the feeling I get.

I like it but do not love it. I will wait and see what the 6mt has to offer. Also to see what other diff options are available. Maybe a diff color and engine performance will make me change my mind.

I dont know, but it seems to me the M looked like a bigger G35 when it first came out. If anyone wants to criticize Infiniti, it should be for making the M35/45 look like a bigger G35.

To me the 07' G35 is definatly a evolution of the current G35. (Im talking about comparing a 06' stock (not modded) G35 to the new 07' G35)

I think a lot of guys are comparing a modded G35 to the new 07' and saying it does not look as sporty.. To me when I look at a stock 06' or earlier G35 it looks rather boring compared to the new 07'

The other problem is everyone keeps thinking the new sedan was going to be made in the image of the Coupe Concept... I got news the new Coupe is not going to look as sporty as the Coupe Concept, and all you guys will be back in here complaining how Infiniti let you down again with the coupe

Liked the new 3 at first, but it looks lame in-person. Give the car 6 months and some other colors and wheels (think sport version), and I think a lot of people will change their minds.
I just hate how big the taillights look to be honest. I like everything BUT the taillights and maybe the afterthought spoiler
