I know B-quiet is really popular, but has anyone checked out Second Skin?

I was thinking about using this brand instead. They seem to be of a higher quality but I wasn't sure how much of it was advertising.
One of the members of their board did a test regarding just the physical qualities of different sound dampeners. Unfortunately there isn't a comparison regarding the noise reduction. Its still an interesting comparison though:

So after installing the Bquite, did you notice any weird smells like tar or asphalt? I've heard about it and really wanted to try it since a lot of ppl say it's just as effective as Dynamat but MUCH cheaper. I'm just concerned that it'll smell like asphalt duing the summer months. Houston summers can be murder in august and september.
