I was going to post this under the Tech section but since it only pertains to Sedans I figure itd be best answered here. Anyway, here goes...

I've read on several posts that if the SAT harness is already installed it would be located somewhere in the trunk. But I've looked all over and I can't really find it. So I have a few questions.

What area exactly would the harness be located?

Would all 2003.5s have the SAT harness preinstalled or are there some out there that are missing it?

How many Sedan owners were missing the harness after the VIN that supported SAT.

I heard that it would be under the rear shelf, near the BOSE amplifier, but I have never seen one. All 2003.5 models are NOT prewired. My 6MT sedan was not, so I had to purchase the harness and run it to the trunk. I detailed the installation at http://www.g-owners.com/article_read.asp?id=19

 

I see this cable harness that looks like it but it seems like it leads to the brake light. I'd have to remove some of the side panels to see it fully. Anyone else with a sedan confirm this?

The sat harness is easy to find. It is in the trunk on the back wall of the trunk on the lower right hand side. Lift up your floor mat a little to get to the back wall carpet and lift the right-hand side of the back wall carpet. The harness is on the lower part of the trunk frame. It has a white plug.

Somewhere in the forums I have seen the list of the cutoffs for the VIN for the pre-wired harness.
