When you guys pop your trunk...

does it just unlatch or does it pop open completley?

mine just unlatches, i wish it would pop fully open like the 3 series I saw.

Do you have a spoiler? The additional weigh makes it only unlatch.

unlatches... but I am 100% sure it is for all the G35 sedans AND coupes...

Correct, on the 05 and older. Not sure about the newer ones.

Just unlatches, I've driven around and parked in some not so safe places with a 10"W6V2 and a 500/1 JL Amp in the trunk only to find out at home that the trunk had been unlatched the whole day

Unlatches. In the pacific northwest I like that it doesn't open. I wouldn't it want to rain on all my stuff.

My '05 unlatches but does not swing up which is fine by me. I rarely have enough in my hands that I can't open the trunk lid to put stuff in. As others have mentioned, why would you want all that rain in your trunk?

didn't even think of that.. I just had 2 armloads of bags and thought it would just be easier to load the trunk if it opened completly

You could make it open all the way I suppose. But you would have to put stronger arm springs in. Or install some hydraulic hood shocks or something.
