that noise mustve been bad - do you drive a sedan? if you can hear a noise from way back there while your driving / radio on.. that mustve been bad!

This is the sedan section, so I'd imagine he does.

I have a Memphis sub in place of the stock Bose.

The noise wasn't that bad at all. It was just annoying. I was probably the only one who could hear it, but once I knew it was there it was driving me crazy until I stopped it.

great write up.

But here's my problem: I just went through all the steps listed above, and i still couldn't find the rattle. It's not the wire listed above, and the seatbelt mechanisms are tight, but when i put everything back and went for a drive, the damn rattle is still there! Any ideas?

I had a decklid and rear window rattle 3 yrs ago and the dealer fixed both of them and I have been squeak and rattle free ever since. I can't believe it. Not one sound. I have never had a car, certainly not a 3-4 yr old + car with NO rattles..from the inside and the outside(chasis). It is solid.

Great post, not sure if this was ever stickied, since it took me 20 minutes to find this, but it really should be!

great post, thread

Great post and thread with the pictures. It took me forever to find a writeup on how to take the actual seatbacks out.

Fixed my brace rattle by tightening everything down. Thanks again, and this should be added to a how-to list or sticky...

SliderG35, props.

Will this DIY work on my '03 coupe? I've looked and haven't found a DIY to remove the rear quarter panels, seat, and speaker deck....if you guys know of one please point me in the right direction!

I wonder if a nissan dealer would fix it for me... I have the same rattle...

It might just be a blown speaker... when the base is up it sounds terrible but if its not, it sounds normal
